Aliza Abbas Mithwani is a singer of Indian origin that has been born and brought up in the UAE.  She has been singing for most of her life. She was enrolled into singing lessons at the Brooklyn Melodies Music Center. There she trained with an excellent vocal coach, who has supported her at every step of her singing journey. Aliza began practicing and giving exams for classical music (ABRSM) for 2-3 years and then moved on to pop music (Rockschool). She also practices and has given Rockschool exams for guitar. She has performed at many recitals at various locations in the Dubai such as “Dubai Mall” and “La Mer”. She auditioned for her first talent competition, Showtime, in 2014 at the age of 10. She didn’t make it, however, this didn’t stop her.  In February 2017, Aliza auditioned for the Dubai Singing Sensation and made it through till the finals and was 3rd runner up. In 2017, she auditioned for Showtime once again, however, this time her audition gave her a standing ovation from the judges. She made it through and came in at as 2nd runner up. In 2018, she participated in the next season of Dubai Singing Sensation at the Taj Mahal of Bollywood Parks Dubai. In 2020, she was selected to represent her school at an international interschool talent competition in Cairo, Egypt in the singing category. During the COVID-19 pandemic, in May 2020, Aliza participated in a virtual singing competition called the Last One Standing and came in as 1^st runner-up. She has now set up her own home-studio and started to record and produce songs and has done professional studio recordings.
